If you send a message through the contact form or enter an address in the newsletter field, you give us the details you type. Our web server and analytics provider record ordinary technical data: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you open. That data is aggregated and used to understand which guides people read.
Affiliate Links
Product links on this site carry an affiliate tag. When you follow one, the retailer may set its own cookie to attribute the visit. That cookie is governed by the retailer, not by us, and we never receive your name, address or payment details from it. We only see aggregate reporting on clicks and orders.
Third-Party Services
We use Google Analytics to measure traffic. Google processes that data under its own privacy policy and may set cookies in your browser. Pages here also link to external retail and reference sites, each of which handles your data under its own terms.

This site is written for business and household shipping decisions and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Your Choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or opt out of analytics using your browser controls or a tracking-protection extension. Newsletter emails carry an unsubscribe link in every message.
